Our Orube Selección de Familia has been distinguished with 91 points in the Special Rioja Report 2024, an evaluation granted by the prestigious Master of Wine Tim Atkin. Atkin tasted 1,332 wines during the last harvest for his report, of which 979 scored over 90 points, confirming his already famous phrase: “Rioja is in one of the greatest crises in its history, but at the same time producing better wines than ever.”

From the Los Molinos estate in the Sierra de Cantabria, this exclusive wine stands out for its meticulous crafting and aging in selected barrels, ensuring its longevity. The creation of Orube Selección de Familia involves meticulous hand harvesting in crates, followed by pre-fermentation maceration to intensify flavor and aroma. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in tanks designed for unique structure, while malolactic fermentation occurs in new French oak barrels for 16 months, with a total aging in these barrels for 16 months.
