LA MARCA PROSECCO BRUT

Description

Founded in 1968, La Marca is an ambassador of Prosecco and the Veneto region, representing 5,000 local winegrowers. The wine region, near Venice, offers views of the Adriatic Sea and the Dolomite mountains. Treviso, the capital of Prosecco in Italy, is known for the Glera grape. The Italian vinification method and the Glera grape give this sparkling wine a fresh style and a delicate floral palate, characteristic of La Marca. Prosecco is produced using the Charmat method, where the second fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. La Marca brings the taste of Italian La Dolce Vita with its sparkling wines.

Vinification
After gentle pressing, the must is fermented with selected yeasts at a temperature of 15 °C. The second fermentation is carried out using the Charmat method at a temperature of 15 °C.

Straw yellow with greenish hues.

Perlage
Fine and persistent.

Bouquet
Its aroma is that of an inviting basket of freshly picked fruit: apples, pears and Mediterranean citrus, with delicate notes of white wildflowers.

Taste
It has a complex flavour that is balanced in taste and smoothness. Its subtle and persistent effervescence highlights fruity aromas while its harmonious acidity cleanses the palate well.

Pairing
For more refined palates, this lively Brut enhances raw fish appetisers: oysters with yuzu jelly and pink pepper, citrus-marinated prawns, salmon tartare or lobster linguine. However, it is also recommended with a delicious Colonnata lardo and Treviso radicchio pizza, or crispy fried fish.

Serving suggestion
Serve chilled at 6-8 °C.

Storage
Store in a cool, dark place at 12-18 °C. Avoid storing in the refrigerator for long periods.
