Description
With great aromatic intensity, this Gran Reserva cava stands out for its own personality and aromatic complexity resulting from more than 36 months of bottle ageing. An elegant and highly gastronomic cava.
VARIETIES
Xarel·lo and Parellada.
ORGANIC PRODUCTION
The 2020 vintage was very fresh, with ideal acidity levels for making a long-aged cava such as this. This is perceptible when, after this long ageing, the cava is tasted, showing a good balance on the palate, with good length, depth and persistence. The second fermentation is carried out using the traditional method, remaining in the cellars for a minimum of 36 months at a constant temperature. Long-aged Gran Reserva style cava.
TASTING NOTES
This Gran Reserva cava has a pale yellow appearance with lemon and golden hues, and fine, persistent bubbles. On the nose, it is clean and of moderate intensity, but with high complexity, combining notes of sweet ripe fruit, pastry and balsamic and lactic touches. On the palate, it is very well balanced in acidity and residual sugar, with well-integrated bubbles, resulting in a long and persistent cava with a smooth texture and prolonged dynamism.
PAIRING AND STORAGE
Ideal to accompany a wide variety of dishes, from appetisers and seafood to poultry, fatty fish and not-too-sweet desserts. Serve in a tall, fine and transparent cava glass at a temperature between 6 and 8 degrees. Store upright, in darkness, at a temperature not exceeding 20ºC.
