Description

Conde de Caralt is a brand with over 60 years of history, founded in 1964 by Josep Maria de Caralt Borrell. Since then, the winery has produced wines and cavas under the D.O. Cava and D.O. Catalunya, combining tradition with a firm commitment to authenticity, consistency and quality.

Produced in the Penedès, this cava reflects the Mediterranean character through its freshness, balance and accessibility. Made with Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada using the traditional method, it undergoes 9 to 12 months of ageing on lees to achieve harmony and finesse.

TASTING NOTES

• Colour: Bright straw yellow with lively, medium-sized bubbles.
• Nose: Fresh and clean, with delicate notes of white fruit and subtle hints of ageing.
• Palate: Smooth, balanced and approachable, combining freshness with a slight roundness. Pleasant and easy-drinking, with a harmonious finish.

PAIRINGS

Extremely versatile. Ideal with seafood, baked fish, rice dishes, light pastas, tapas or mild cheeses.
