Más información

Valdubón Diez is composed of several vintages, with this edition consisting of 40% from 2020 and 60% from 2021.

The year 2020 was characterized by above-average temperatures, resulting in medium-sized grapes of high quality. On the other hand, 2021 experienced a mild winter and a rainy spring, followed by a dry and hot summer. Despite a slight delay in the growth cycle, the September rains benefited the increase in grape size. Grapes harvested in this vintage showed similar quality to those of 2020, with medium size, excellent health, high phenolic maturity, moderate acidity, and medium to high alcohol content.

The aging of Valdubón Diez 13th Edition extended for 13.5 months in French oak barrels. Subsequently, aging concludes with a period in the bottle, during which the wine undergoes further refinement of its structure and the rounding of its aromas before its release to the market.

The wine displays an intense red color with purple highlights, indicating youth and potency. On the nose, it exhibits aromas of red and black fruits, with hints of mint and spices derived from its aging in French oak. On the palate, it combines power and smoothness with a balance of acidity, tannins, and alcohol content, delivering a light and joyful palate followed by a long aftertaste that invites enjoyment of its nuances.

Ideal for pairing with a wide variety of dishes, the wine is perfect for accompanying appetizers with mushrooms, red meats, grilled fish, and desserts with cream and/or chocolate. It is recommended to serve it at a temperature between 14 and 16 degrees to fully enjoy its qualities
