VINTAGE
In 2023, above-average temperatures were experienced, resulting in a mild winter and a dry, warm spring in the area. Despite the lack of rainfall, summer rains were beneficial for flowering and fruit ripening. As a result, a harvest of medium-sized fruits was obtained, with excellent sanitary condition, high phenolic ripeness, moderate acidity and great aromatic intensity.

PRODUCTION
The wine is produced with grapes from the areas of Milagros, Castrillo and Pardilla. The permitted average production is 7-8 clusters per vine, with a maximum yield of 6,000 kg/Ha, although only 4,500 kg/Ha was achieved. Grape quality is ensured through green pruning. Production focuses on preserving the primary aromas and violet colour of young wines, with temperature control during fermentation at 17°C and maceration of 3-5 days. Co-inoculation techniques are used to maximise the fruit character of the wine on the palate and nose.

TASTING NOTES
Red wine with an intense violet colour and high colour intensity. On the nose, an explosion of fresh red and black fruits can be appreciated, with prominent notes of raspberries and blackberries, complemented by subtle lactic touches.
On the palate, it presents a smooth and fresh entry, with a lively character, thanks to its good acidity and low tannicity. Its passage through the mouth is light, with a fruity and refreshing finish.

PAIRING & STORAGE
This wine is ideal to accompany a variety of dishes, from appetisers with foie, red fruits and goat’s cheese, to fresh fruit salads and white meats. It is recommended to serve between 14 and 16 degrees to highlight its best qualities and preserve its optimal flavour.
