Wine belonging to the “Pedro Ferrer Noguer Collection” and made mostly with grapes from vineyards over 15 years old in the Salnés Valley.
Fermentation takes place at 15°C to preserve all the floral and tropical notes typical of the variety. After racking at the end of fermentation, the wine is transferred to 500-litre second-year French oak barrels, where it remains in contact with its fine lees for at least 6 months. After ageing is complete, the perfect blend is sought with unwooded wine from the same vintage, achieving the perfect balance both aromatically and on the palate.
TASTING:
Visually, it shows a bright wine, yellow in colour with golden tones. The first aromatic impression is of fruit cocktail in syrup, especially pineapple and peach. After light aeration, it becomes more intense and complex, bringing citrus notes and, more subtly, white flowers and honey.
On the palate it is enveloping, honest and flavourful, with a certain freshness provided by the natural acidity of the Albariño grape, which results in a balanced and persistent wine.
